Welcome to Front Range HO Racing, we are the place for Denver area Vintage T-jet Road and Drag Racing! Since 1994, the Front Range HO Racing Club has provided regularly scheduled HO Scale Racing events with (Spring/Summer) and (Fall/Winter) seasons. Slot car races on a variety of tracks each season in the Front Range, the greater Denver area and high in the Rockies. Events are normally scheduled on Friday evenings or early Saturday afternoons.
Every race season, the FRHO offer 3 or 4 hard body classes of cars to choose from, based on the venerable
Aurora Thunder-jet type chassis, and usually offer an additional class for variety, such as
Magna-traction/X-traction or even "Brass War" era
Riggens and
Tycopros. Members young and old gather about a dozen times a year to race, with open track tuning nights raising that number even higher

FRHO events are organized to be fun and exciting for the newcomer, yet still provide a very challenging environment for competition. Cars and controllers are always available to be loaned out to new racers and plenty of help in building and competing with these cars is freely given.

EditWhat Is The Orange Car?
Why it's one of FRHO master modeler Joe Furuli's 5 window resin coupes for the vintage Formula 1 chassis. There are currently over 30 HO Slot Car Racers in our Roster with between 10 and 20 folks attending most events. Our youngest member is about 10 years old and our oldest will give you a nasty look if you ask. With 6 quality regional raceways, there's probably an upcoming event near you.
