The Mark II 2A, 3.4 and 3.8-litre Jaguars were introduced in 1960. They were improved versions of the already well established Mark I cars.
It's doubtful if any other car has had such a colorful history. Jaguars have won numerous saloon car races both in international and club events often being driven by famous racing names such as Mike Parkes, Graham Hill, and Jack Sears.
In the international rally field, their list of victories is just as impressive. A particularly successful team is the two German drivers, Lindner and Nocker. It is not only in racing that Jaguars have become famous - unfortunately, because of their impressive performance they are used in some of the more spectacular crimes committed in this country (Great Britain)!
