Description: This custom-made drag track is 34 feet overall length and 20 feet 7 1/2 inches in length (1/64 scale one-quarter mile) from the starting line to the finish line. There is a 12 foot non-powered shutdown area with 1/16" bar stock in place of the power rail to aid with slowing down drag cars with traction magnets. There is also a catch towel towards the end of the shutdown area and at the very end is a 5" thick soft foam block to protect against wall shots. To insure that the drag cars get maximum downforce & power off of the starting line, the track is double railed from the starting line to the first scale 60 feet of the track.
